Abstract

This Stage 2A consultation seeks views on proposals for changes to the Building Regulations in Wales for Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) and Part F (Ventilation). The overarching aim relates to: improving energy efficiency in existing homes, reducing overheating in new dwellings and meeting the requirements of the energy performance of buildings directive. Outlines the development of the proposals, the timeline for changes, background, performance standards for building fabric and consequential improvements, mitigating overheating, and transitional arrangements.
