Abstract
This Stage 2A consultation seeks views on proposals for changes to the Building Regulations in Wales for Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) and Part F (Ventilation). The overarching aim relates to: improving energy efficiency in existing homes, reducing overheating in new dwellings and meeting the requirements of the energy performance of buildings directive. Sets out the impact assessment for the proposed changes to Parts F and L of the building regulations for existing dwellings in Wales, along with introducing a new Part S and transposing requirements from the EPBD.
