Abstract

Relates to SI 2020/1218, which removes the necessity to seek planning consent under the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP) regime set out in the Planning Act 2008 for electricity storage (except pumped hydro storage). Consent can be sought from the Local Planning Authority under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 instead.
