Abstract

Presents the Government response and next steps for the 2020 public consultation on fire safety. The original consultation considered changes that would: strengthen existing policy and legislation; implement recommendations outlined in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase 1 report; and improve procedures and practice between building control and fire and rescue services.
