Abstract
Re-emphasises fundamental aspects of the Strategic Planning Policy Statement (SPPS) with regard to development in the countryside in Northern Ireland and clarifies certain extant provisions of strategic policy. Covers: regional strategic planning policy, local development planning and development management, integration and rural character, dwellings on farms, infill/ribbon development, new dwellings in existing clusters, application and review.
