Abstract
Comprises the first in a series of annual reports aiming to show how rural proofing is being implemented across government to ensure rural areas are taken into account when designing and delivering policies. Focuses particularly on strengthening the rural economy, developing rural infrastructure, delivering rural services and managing the natural environment.
