Abstract
Fire pumps and water tanks prove to be effective and reliable sources for sprinkler systems. Describes the operational requirements, different pump types and packages, and considers the issues of high rise buildings. Also covers pressure maintenance pumps (jockey pump), early suppression fast response (ESFR) installations, factory assembled packaged pump houses and maintenance factors.
