Details requirements covering definitions and symbols, basis of design, actions on lines including wind loads, wind forces, ice loads and combinations, temperature effects, security loads, short-circuit currents, electrical requirements, earthing systems, supports, foundations, conductor and earth wires, insulators, line equipment and quality assurance for overhead lines with nominal voltages above 1 kV AC. Only applicable for new overhead lines above 1 kV AC.
