Abstract
Provides guidance for the appropriate and effective use of surveillance camera systems in England and Wales. Describes the purpose of the code, the scope of surveillance activity, effect of the code, guiding principles, development and use of surveillance camera systems, use or processing of images or other information and describes the functions of the Surveillance camera commissioner. Updated to recognise changes to legislation along with some text revision to make it easier to follow.
