Abstract
Sets out CIWEM's current position relating to natural flood management (NFM) in the UK. Looks at how interventions such as upland peat restoration and woodland creation, soil aeration, leaky barriers and dams, offline storage ponds and channel restoration can be used, and discusses the barriers to implementation.
