Abstract

Provides a set of requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system for all types and sizes of organizations. It also covers requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks.

Document History

Supersedes BS ISO/IEC 27001:2013. This British Standard is the UK implementation of ISO/IEC 27001:2022. It does not supersede BS EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017, which remains current until it is withdrawn on UK implementation of a European Standard that approves the text of ISO/IEC 27001:2022. BSI, as a member of CEN/CENELEC, is obliged to publish the European Standard.
