Abstract
Covers safety of refrigerating appliances intended for household or similar use, ice-makers which include a motor-compressor and those which form part of frozen food storage compartments and refrigerating appliances and ice-makers intended for camping, touring caravans and boats. The rated voltage is a maximum of 250 V for single-phase appliances, 480 V for other appliances and 24 V DC where the appliance is using battery. In addition relevant to ice-cream appliances for household use and compression-type appliances.
