BS EN ISO 5817:2023 Welding - Fusion-welded joints in steel, nickel, titanium and their alloys (beam welding excluded) - Quality levels for imperfections

Abstract
Gives three quality levels to define dimensions of typical imperfections in fusion-welded joints (except for beam welding) in all types of steel, nickel, titanium and their alloys. Relevant materials would have a thickness above 0,5mm and welds covered include fully penetrated or partial butt welds and all fillet welds. The information may be useful for a quality management system for the production of joints.
