Details requirements covering definitions and symbols, basis of design, actions on lines (including wind loads, wind forces, ice loads and combinations, temperature effects, security loads, safety loads, short-circuit currents) electrical requirements, earthing systems, supports, foundations, conductors and earth wires, insulators, hardware, line equipment and quality assurance for new overhead lines with nominal voltages above 1 kV AC and with rated frequencies below 100 Hz.
