Abstract
Relates to the conditions of steady-state operation of cables at all alternating voltages and direct voltages of a maximum of 5 kV. Applies to cables which are buried directly in the ground, in ducts, troughs or steel pipes and those in air. Formulae for thermal resistance are given.
