Provides guidance on requesting a significant infrastructure project (SIP) direction and which details should be included. Covers: other projects that can be a SIP, what projects may be brought into the system, when is a project of national significance, what is the impact of bringing a project into the regime, removing cross-border projects from the process, making a request for a direction, what must be included in a request for a section 22 direction, notify people of a section 22 direction request, what must be included in a request for a section 24 direction, what if further information is needed, how long will it take for a decision and how to challenge a decision.
