Abstract

Provides notification to heads of planning in Wales of the publication of the Town and Country Planning (Coal and Petroleum Development) (Notification) (Wales) Direction 2026 which comes into force from 7 April 2026. The Direction requires that any planning application for the development of petroleum or coal must be referred to Welsh Ministers, where a planning authority does not propose to refuse the application.
