Abstract

Intended for the design of self-contained housing for elderly people, which can vary in its form from bungalows and flats with no supporting accommodation and facilities to schemes with communal rooms and wardens offering shelter in varying degrees i.e. grouped flats and/or bungalows with communal facilities; individual flats in a single building with communal facilities; and extra care schemes in a single building with communal facilities.
