Abstract
Aims to provide information that will assist users of hardwoods to select the timbers best suited to their purposes and to process them in the most satisfactory manner, having regard to the individual features of each timber. In all, the book provides full descriptions of 117 hardwoods and a further 103 are described more briefly.
