Abstract
Summarises the information currently available on Mowlem in-situ concrete low rise dwellings. Details of the form of construction are given which will assist building surveyors in identifying this type of construction. The general condition of a large number of Mowlem houses and flats which have been surveyed is discussed and common defects are identified for those called upon to make a structural assessment of similar buildings.
