Abstract
PPG 14 sets out the broad planning and technical issues in respect of development on unstable land. This annex to PPG 14 aims to take that guidance forward with particular reference to problems caused by landslides and unstable slopes and should be read in conjunction with it.

No longer applicable as the planning policy to which it refers has been superseded by National planning policy framework (DCLG, 2012).
