Publication Year

Document Status

Abstract
Framed around the mechanised construction of concrete road pavements built to the current DoT Specification for Highway Works. Most design and construction aspects considered also apply to airfield pavement construction. However, airfield pavements differ in a few but nevertheless important respects. Reference is made to these differences whenever they apply. The new document describes the current state of concrete paving and provides an important aid to all those considering the use and future development of concrete pavements. The subject of concrete supply, production and control is now included as a separate chapter.
