Abstract
The construction of the energy efficient office on the BRE site was an ideal opportunity to carry out a demonstration project to identify and study the practicalities of reuse and recycling, regarding commercial, operational and contractual issues. This paper discusses issues raised and what has been achieved. It provides information for those concerned with demolition and waste management.
