Abstract

Gives the principles underlying the correct glazing of insulating glass units into windows and doors in UK exposure conditions, and includes descriptions of the glazing methods recommended by the Glass and Glazing Federation. The document is applicable to both site glazing and factory glazing. It also applies to the conversion of existing single glazed windows, but it should be noted that some types of frame may need modifications to enable them to meet the requirements.
