NBS recently hosted a roundtable discussion forum in London to talk to specifiers about industry trends and how they may impact the world of specification. In attendance were architects, engineers and quantity surveyors, who prepare specifications for practices of varying sizes.
The new building safety regime, with the Building Safety Act at its foundation, applies to all construction projects subject to Building Regulations in England*. In summary, it will ensure that the documentation process underpinning the design, construction and maintenance of buildings is ‘done properly’.
