Abstract

Gives advice on the law as it currently stands in England. The guide also suggests ways in which local planning authorities can administer the tree preservation order system in accordance with good practice. The guide has been written primarily for local planning authorities, but it should also be a useful reference point for others interested in, or whose interests are affected by, tree preservation orders.
