Abstract
Reports on 3 years of research carried out to study the current state of the reclamation of mineral working to agriculture. While the study has focused on the reclamation of sand and gravel, opencast coal and chalk and limestone quarries, other mineral workings (for instance brickearth and gypsum quarries) have been examined.
