Abstract
Sets out the results of a review of the procedures for the preparation and adoption of district and borough wide local plans and UDPs undertaken by the Department of the Environment's Planning Directorate between April and July 1996. The report summarises the main points to come out of discussion with developers, conservation groups, local authorities and professional bodies.
