Abstract
The purpose of this two year research contract was first to review the extent and nature of the information and guidance available on the reclamation of mineral workings to amenity after-uses and second, within one document, to provide guidance on planning controls, restoration techniques and short and long term management requirements to achieve satisfactory standards of reclamation. The main part of this chapter takes the form of a series of tables summarising the size and topographical requirements of individual amenity end uses combined with summaries of their building and infrastructure requirements.
Document History
This document is part of a larger document, Amenity reclamation of mineral workings: main report, which has been split into parts for ease of use.
