Manufacturer Spotlight: Granada Secondary Glazing

We caught up with Granada Secondary Glazing to find out more about the manufacturer's products, which are now available on NBS Source.

granada-header

Granada Secondary Glazing are the UK’s largest bespoke secondary glazing manufacturer, having supplied their industry-leading products to trade and commercial partners across the UK for over 35 years. Operating from a 40,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Sheffield, the Granada team is able to manufacture over 30,000 high-end, aluminium frames every year.

In 2021, Granada revolutionised the secondary glazing market with the launch of a new product range which blended seamless aesthetics with unrivalled thermal and acoustic performance. In the commercial arena, Granada continue to offer a full cradle-to-grave solution to its partners, from initial design concept to final installation. Granada have a long-standing history of working on commercial projects within some of the most prestigious buildings throughout the UK including Edinburgh Castle, The National Gallery and Museum of London.

Granada joined NBS Source in November 2022 as a means of allowing architects and specifiers to quickly access their industry-leading products and make informed selections based on thermal and acoustic requirements. Source allows the Granada team to house other key information – such as technical data sheets, case studies and third-party certification – all in one simple location.

The Granada sales team is incredibly active in delivering its renowned CPD presentation: ‘Understanding Secondary Glazing’ to architects across the UK. The 45-minute seminar, which can be delivered either in person or online, outlines the circumstances in which secondary glazing should and could be specified. The presentation takes a closer look at Granada’s suite of products and details how the range of applications can be used to benefit commercial projects.

Rob Cottam, Commercial Sales Manager at Granada Secondary Glazing, said he was pleased with the impact the NBS Source inclusion has had on the business:
