The Building Safety Act: Revisited
ON DEMAND
The new building safety regime came into effect in October 2023, with transitional arrangements until April 2024. To analyse its impact on the construction industry, this panel discussion brings together technical experts from architecture, construction, manufacturing and specification.
Chaired by Richard Waterhouse, Non-Executive Director of the British Board of Agrément (BBA), the discussion will offer vital insights into the regulations and answer questions around project responsibilities and the practicalities of ensuring compliance.
The webinar is a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of:
- The direct effect the Building Safety Act is having on specifiers and manufacturers.
- Additional guidance published on the 'Golden Thread of Information' and what achieving it means in practice.
- The responsibilities of key roles (Client, Principal Designer, and Principal Contractor) on both standard and higher-risk building (HRB) projects.
