Digital Construction Week is set to return this October and organisers are working with the teams behind some of the biggest construction and infrastructure projects the UK has ever seen, with Crossrail and High Speed 2 confirmed as industry partners for this year's show.
On October 26 and 27, you’ll be able to meet the team behind HS2 in a dedicated pavilion area. Here you can find out what will be required of those wishing to work on, and be involved in, the biggest infrastructure project in the UK through a series of workshops and Q&A sessions. You'll also hear direct from some of the most senior figures within HS2, including Head of Innovation, Dr Iain Roche. Crossrail's Head of Innovation, John Pelton will also be on stage offering insight as to the innovative thinking applied to Europe's largest infrastructre programme.
DCW is also collaborating with a whole host of industry partners including the BIM Task Group, Enterprise Ireland, Innovate UK, and KTN to bring a number of new features to the show. In addition to the HS2 pavilion, there will be five new free seminar theatres - Tech Stage, Innovation Village, Digital in Action, BIM Village and Local Authority Village.
A 'digital in action seminar' series will feature a range of business and project case studies offering practical learning and guidance for those looking to adopt innovative technologies and processes such as BIM, Information Management, UAV's, Additive Manufacturing, robotics, offsite construction and more. Organisers are currently looking for prospective presenters and you can register your interest online.
