World Architecture Festival 2013

September 2013

The World Architecture Festival is taking place in Singapore from 2 to 4 October 2013. This is the world's largest festival and live awards programme for the global architecture community and NBS are delighted to be a sponsor of the event. The theme for this year's festival is value and values, and this theme will inform talks throughout the three days of the event.

WAF 2013 promises to be an inspirational, design-led experience, and will provide delegates with the opportunity to hear from 70 industry-shaping speakers including some of the world's best-known architects and talented young practices establishing themselves on the global stage. Joining this impressive line-up of keynote speakers from around the world is our own Chief Executive of RIBA Enterprises, Richard Waterhouse. Richard will be presenting his seminar, Value of BIM - Technology Update, on the Festival Hall Stage on day two of the festival (Thursday 3rd October) and will cover:

It is expected that over 1,750 architects, representing more than 60 countries, will attend the event, and 301 of the year's most exciting global projects will be competing for WAF awards. All finalists present live at the Festival in open crits and receive feedback from highly experienced and acclaimed architects from around the world.
