Summary
If you subscribe to a network licence you need a mapped drive for NBS Building and NBS Landscape. This article explains how to map a network drive.
Note: Mapping a network drive will be handled by your office IT administrator as it may require knowledge of exact network locations specific to your business.
Windows 10 and Windows 8
- Click on File Explorer (Folder Icon) > Computer tab at the top of the the Explorer window, then click Map Network Drive.
- In the Drive box, select a drive letter.
- In the Folder box, type the UNC path for the server and shared resource in the following format: \\[server name]\[share name]. You can also click Browse to find the computer and shared resource.
- Click Finish.
Windows 7
- Click Start > Computer, then click Map Network Drive at the top of the the Explorer window.
- In the Drive box, select a drive letter.
- In the Folder box, type the UNC path for the server and shared resource in the following format: \\[server name]\[share name]. You can also click Browse to find the computer and shared resource.
- Click Finish.
