Silvio Carta Ph.D. Doctor Europaeus ARB RIBA is an architect and researcher based in London.
His main fields of interest are digital design and architectural theory and practice. His studies have focused on the understanding of the contemporary architecture, digital processes, architectural criticism, regeneration and retrofitting, sustainable design, research through making, and the analysis of the design process.
He taught at the University of Cagliari (I), University of Rotterdam, and Delft University of Technology, Department of Public Building (NL). Silvio’s main research interest is in digital design, big data and public space.
He is now Programme Leader in Architecture - Interior Architecture and Design, and Chair of the Design Research Group (DRG) at the University of Hertfordshire (UK).
