Course Overview
This course is designed for individuals and teams involved in writing specifications, including architects, engineers, and construction professionals. It is particularly suited for those who have completed the NBS Chorus Essential course or have experience writing several specifications on the platform. Participants should have a basic understanding of the platform, be able to navigate it and have the skills to create projects and specifications, add content, and edit it with relevant project information.
Course requirements
Chorus subscription level - Pro / Premium
To have completed Chorus Essentials (Training Fundamentals) course or Chorus Bronze course or had experience of writing a couple of specifications in the platform
Learning outcomes
- Collaborating as a project team to write a specification.
- Using your organisation's pre-written specification content as a project starting point and understanding the benefits of doing so.
- How to copy content.
- Understanding the advantages and potential pitfalls of copying content both within and across projects.
- Utilise notes within Chorus to aid in writing and understanding specifications by providing explanations for decisions and guidance to support others.
- Researching products across NBS Source and utilising it across projects collaboratively.

2 hours (9:30 to 11:30 or 14:00 to 16:00)
