Course Overview
This course is designed for individuals and teams involved in writing specifications, including architects, engineers, and construction professionals. It is particularly suited for those who have completed the NBS Chorus Essential course or have experience writing several specifications on the platform. Participants should have a basic understanding of the platform, be able to navigate it and have the skills to create projects and specifications, add content, and edit it with relevant project information.
Course requirements
Chorus subscription level - Chorus / Pro / Premium
To have completed Chorus Essentials (Training Fundamentals) course or Chorus Bronze course or had experience of writing a couple of specifications in the platform
Learning outcomes
- Reduce clauses within the specification by, where relevant, using them across multiple systems.*
- Be able to see what systems, clauses are associated within the platform.*
- Using clauses within systems where they are not associated with and understand why you might do this.*
- Identify the information within your specification that you wish to amend, update, or remove.
- Recover accidentally deleted specifications.
- Monitor progress while writing your specifications.
- Checking NBS content is current within your specification.
- Keeping track of where submissions are needed.**
- Maximising the benefits of the publication features.

Uniclass - 2 hours (9:30 - 11:30 or 14:00 -16:00)
CAWS - 1.5 hours (9:30 to 11:00 or 14:00 to 15:30)
